Release Notes for Rendezyou release 0.5

This release introduces several important features and enhancements. Also fixes some important bugs.

Important: You must update your Rendezyou client app in order to continue using Rendezyou. This is to make sure that the client and the web app play together nicely.

Rendezyou client app

Improved registration regime: Users must be logged in to access their aggregated rendezyous (My Rendezyou™s, import and subscribe to personal Rendezyou Calendar).

Main window is now resizable.

Insert link to rendezyou by using RENDEZYOU_LINK as a placeholder in invitation messages.

[Bug]

iCal events could not be dragged into Rendezyou client app if ~/Library/Application Support/Rendezyou directory does not exist.

Rendezyou web app

[Feature]

Mailto link to all participants for rendezyou initiator.

[Enhancement]

A suggestion's location and note are now shown regardless of whether all suggestions have the same value.

Better rendezyou page: Initiator is displayed underneath the title, URLs in invitation messages are auto-linked.

Aggregated invitee votes are now displayed as (3✔, 1✘) in personal Rendezyou Calendar.

Now accepts longer URLs and notes (up to 300 characters).

Now works with deactivated time zone support in iCal.
